Holiday Fun at F&C

IMG_4936

Yesterday, in the midst of all our development, construction and management work, the Flaherty & Collins Properties corporate office in Indianapolis took some time throughout the day to celebrate the holidays and the friendships we’ve made throughout the years.

After our Secret Santa reveal in the morning, many of the guys hit the Noblesville YMCA for a corporate office basketball tournament organized by Ryan Cronk, Vice President of Development. As you can tell from our photographic evidence, the teams were loaded with talent, heart and gave great effort. Sweat and tears blanketed the hardwood for over two hours. At the end of the day, the team of Michael, Paul and Q came away victorious.

Later in the afternoon, we shut down the corporate office a few hours early to head down to Fountain Square for Duckpin Bowling. A fun and fabulous event organized by our very own HR Director, Gene Buerrosse.

CEO David Flaherty and President Jerry Collins both took a few moments to highlight the key accomplishments of our company and the individuals who make F&C a special place. From there, the duckpin bowling tournament commenced for the prize of a Turkey Trophy! After a close tournament, our winners were Jerry Collins, Ryan Cronk, Derek Miller and Jason Schoettle (with pitch-hitting in the final rounds by Kathy Desautels).

Caring on the Canal

During the holiday season, many of our Flaherty & Collins communities are engaged in activities and events to benefit our local areas. It is a proud tradition at F&C to give back, share and be proud partners in our communities.

In Indianapolis, Cosmopolitan on the Canal reached out to the St. Mary’s Child Center to adopt a family in need. St. Mary’s has a long history and mission of serving children whose families live in poverty. According to recent research, one in four Indiana children live in poverty.

Toys 2

Located just a few blocks from Cosmo, St. Mary’s made a perfect fit for residents to be able to stop in for a visit. Cosmo adopted five children from different families, ranging in age from 9 months to 17 years. Flyers were posted throughout the building and delivered to residents. With a goal of $100 per child, the residents of Cosmo went above and beyond, donating nearly a room full of gifts and personalizing items for the children adopted.

Letter

We are proud of our residents, not just at Cosmo, but throughout the Flaherty & Collins Properties portfolio, for sharing their kindness this season.
