Each year, several of the communities in the Flaherty & Collins Properties family participate in National Night Out, an annual community building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camraderie to make neighborhoods safer and overall better places to live. This year, National Night Out was held on Tuesday, August 4th.
The event, organized by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) is the nation’s premiere non-profit crime prevention organization dedicated to the development and promotion of crime prevention in communities across the nation. NATW is a network of law enforcement agencies, neighborhood watch groups, civic groups, state and regional crime prevention associations and concerned citizens. Through that network, NATW was able to launch the annual National Night Out campaign.
Neighborhoods – like Clark’s Crossing in Vincennes, Ind. – and across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits. F&C is a proud supporter of the event and we thank NATW and so many others for helping make this year’s event so successful!
