On Tuesday, Flaherty & Collins Properties lent some helping hands for the Annual Hazel Dell Christian Church Thanksgiving Food Giveaway at Amber Woods on Indianapolis’ near East side.
This is an annual event in partnership with Pathway Resource Center, Inc. and Amber Woods Apartments to assist residents living at Amber Woods Apartments with food items and other staples for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Under the leadership of the Senior Pastor, Mark Wright, the Hazel Dell Christian Church of Carmel provided 1,000 bags of groceries and 150 $10 Kroger gift cards to purchase turkeys for 150 pre-registered residents.
There were approximately 30 Flaherty & Collins Properties volunteers (including President Jerry Collins and Vice President of Property & Asset Management, Jill Meals-Herron). Additional assistance was provided by members of the Hazel Dell Christian Church, the Pathway Resource Center, Amber Woods Board Members and community volunteers, including the Honorable Vernon Brown, newly elected Warren Township Trustee, and the Honorable Garland Graves of Warren Township Small Claims Court.
